What is CoBrew?
CoBrew helps you find work-friendly cafes, libraries, and coworking spaces nearby, with practical details like Wi-Fi, outlets, bathrooms, seating, noise, and hours. You can use it solo as a study spot finder or connect with others working around you by joining or starting a "brew", a work/study session with new people in NYC.
Where is it available?
We are opening in New York City first. Tell us where you're coming from on the waitlist so we can track demand and prioritize future rollouts.
When can I actually use it?
CoBrew is in private beta on iOS. Request access on this page and we will email you an invite as the beta rolls out.
How much does it cost?
The first 1,000 members get founding pricing starting at $1.99/month. If operating costs force a change, founding pricing will not go above $1.99/month. Standard membership after that is $3.99/month.
What devices are supported?
iOS is open first. Android testers can request access too — we will email you when the Android beta opens.
Is my location shared with strangers?
No. CoBrew shows your approximate location only to people you have explicitly joined a session with. Browsing the map shows public sessions at named spots — never private homes or precise coordinates.
Do I have to be a remote worker?
No. If you bring something to do outside your home, you are the audience. CoBrew is for anyone who wants to find community-identified best places to work or wants to connect with others — students, freelancers, founders, writers, designers, engineers.
Can I use it just to find a study spot?
Yes. The spot finder is useful on its own. Filter for places with Wi-Fi, outlets, bathrooms, quieter noise levels, enough seating, and hours that fit your day. Joining other people is optional.
Can beta testers help add spots?
Yes. Test users who add valid spots and provide complete reviews can qualify for a gift card once CoBrew is ready. Rewards are based on useful, complete submissions, not positive ratings.
Can a location claim its information?
Yes. Community reviews stay community-led, but owners and managers can reach out to claim factual details like hours, Wi-Fi, outlets, bathrooms, seating, and accessibility notes.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Account → Delete account. We remove your profile and all your sessions permanently within 30 days.
